Kick that rock, change the time zone on that clock

California’s grapes could never last
With the vines in knots
And the fault lines scratching fast
As I try to own my past

Some flowers die
By calendar flip
Do they know it’s coming
Or do they think that it’s a blip
All roots dissolve at a clip
Of stagnant then a slip

If it's real real
It isn't right
But if it's real
